I’ve been feeling a little uninspired lately with my food choices. Between my new life at uni and looking after Little E, I’m reaching for the baked beans on toast more often than I’d like. I want healthy options but old habits die hard and I
A few weeks ago, I received an email from a very enthusiastic and very lovely person by the name of Ashley Beaudin. Ash had seen my Instagram and reached out to me with an offer to collaborate in an Instagram campaign she was hosting. The plan was for a group of “girl bosses” to show their readers/followers that the perfect, shiny exterior that we all
With watermelon being a SUPER CHEAP 88c per kilo right now I’ve been buying them whole every few days or so (we go through a whole one every few days around here) giving Little E some seriously cute melon belly. Obviously with so much watermelon available, I’ve had to get a little creative to make sure we eat it all before it gets gross
2017 has already started to shape into a year of change for me. I was accepted into a design course which means D has gone part time to support me on that and in turn, has become a part-time stay at home dad to Little E. It’s scary and exciting. Okay so are these salad posts getting out of hand yet? No? Yes? They’re all I’ve been eating as of late so sorry for the salad overload! At least they’re all different right? I’ve got a few more in the works, so hold tight, this salad wave is almost over (I think). Every time I think I can’t take another salad, I get hit with
I know, I know. Chokers are SOOOO last year! I’m always so late on the fashion bandwagon that it’s a total new thing for me. I’ve actually been wanting to do this DIY for a few months now, but haven’t been able to until now! But alas, better late than never as the saying goes. Sooooo….when I DIY’d my own bucket bag, I decided to use up some
I’ve been DIYing a lot lately and I’ve been enjoying it so much. There’s something about walking out of the house saying to yourself, ‘I made dis’that acts as some sort of confidence boost (or not, depending on how successful your DIY was of course). I subscribed to A Pair and a Spare months ago and let me tell you, Gevena’s DIY’s are just too good to handle.
Keeping up with the summer vibes, I’ve got another salad here for y’all. With an average temperature of 35 degrees lately (that’s about 94 Fahrenheit) no one wants to turn on an oven for Sunday night roast when you’re already roasting in a Sydney heatwave. Is it unbearable? Well….no, it’s no Brisbane (helloooo humidity!), but it’s still warm! So for the foreseeable summery future, I’m making salads left right and centre.
