I’ve been DIYing a lot lately and I’ve been enjoying it so much. There’s something about walking out of the house saying to yourself, ‘I made dis’that acts as some sort of confidence boost (or not, depending on how successful your DIY was of course).
I subscribed to A Pair and a Spare months ago and let me tell you, Gevena’s DIY’s are just too good to handle. She’s got some serious creativity and know-how when it comes to doing stuff yourself. Serious DIY skills y’all.
My first DIY was a mens shirt turned into an off the shoulder shirt. I rescued one of D’s shirts from the charity bin pile and got cutting, pinning and sewing. It didn’t turn out as refined as Geneva’s, but for a first go at it, I must say, it’s not too bad.
I styled it with black jeans, lace up sandals and my very own DIY choker for some serious 90s throwbacks.
