Salted caramel is one of those condiments that just MAKES a dessert. The super sweetness is offset by the subtle saltines – IT’S JUST SO YUMMY! I could (and do) eat it out of the jar and I have no regrets….most of the time.
I searched for a good vegan caramel recipe for a long time (maybe they’ve appeared on the interwebs since) but I could never find one. All of the recipes I came across were made with heavy cream or milk. So I created my own recipe, and I think it does well.
