As I wrote in my February Taking Stock post, I’m on my way back to uni. I’ll be studying fashion design and I’m SO excited to get into it. Already, there have been a few hiccups in the process, but hopefully everything will be smoothed out by the time it’s up and running.
Anyway, this week we had our orientation week and I wanted to really ‘dress the part’ but not too dressy. So silly, but I wanted to dress up and feel confident with my style without feeling like I was over dressed. Talk about over thinking it! Two weeks in and I’ll no doubt be back in my active wear every day.
I had to do a bridging course to brush up on my skills and make sure I could start off in the actual course on the right foot. I discovered very quickly that it gets SUPER cold in the classrooms. Even if it was 30 degrees outside, I was sitting in class with freezing cold hand, goose bumps and the very high possibility of shivers. For me, it was arctic. With that in mind, I knew I needed to bring something to throw over my shoulders to keep me a little warm when the air-con became too much.
Of course this gave me the perfect excuse to wear in my new jacket from Zara. I was looking for a top when I saw it and obviously had to buy. Styled with my new shoes and top from The Iconic, and a Jimmy Choo handbag for a pop of colour, I felt ready to take on O-day.
Omg my feet were so sore by the end of the day!! But worth it right?
